St Mary's Cathedral Concert Series

 

The St Mary's Cathedral Concert Series aims to promote divine music used in sacred worship, present local and national talent as well as feature the wonderful St Mary's Cathedral Pipe Organ and Cathedral acoustics. The Cathedral presents around eight of their own performances a year and hosts a number of local community music groups who hire the Cathedral to put on their own concerts. Proceeds from the concert series go towards funding the Cathedral's Music Ministry which has significant expenses for the continuing upkeep of the pipe organs, pianos and music purchases.
